Three steps to a clear brief.

01

Prepare your files

Upload files or choose eligible saved Micronest files. RFQ needs at least one file; Talent can start without files.

02

Describe your requirements

Explain the desired result and relevant constraints. Check imported material and add missing details.

03

Review and send

Check the complete brief, then send it yourself. A receipt confirms the request was received.

03 / Files

Files

PDF, STEP, STP or STL. Up to 25 files, 25 MiB per PDF, 64 MiB per CAD file and 95 MiB in total.

PDF drawings must be unencrypted and contain no embedded files, external file references or active content. Export a new drawing PDF from your CAD application; malformed or overly complex PDFs are not accepted.

Upload PDF, STEP, STP or STL files, or explicitly select eligible files from your main-site projects.

04 / Your files stay private.

Your files stay private.

Only you and authorised staff can access private files. Source restrictions are preserved; staff-only files cannot be downloaded by customers.

Linked imported files are removed from this request. Other uploads stay intact.

Questions before you start

Does sending create an order?

A receipt confirms only that your private request was received. It is not an accepted order, agreed price, assigned specialist or guaranteed turnaround. Any quote or work is agreed separately.

Which files can I use?

Upload PDF, STEP, STP or STL files, or explicitly select eligible files from your main-site projects.

Can I return to a draft?

Yes. Saving files, signing in and importing a package leave a draft. Only Send private request submits it.

What happens if I delete the source project?

Linked imported files are removed from this request. Other uploads stay intact.

Who can access my files?

Only you and authorised staff can access private files. Source restrictions are preserved; staff-only files cannot be downloaded by customers.

Which account do I use?

Sign in with your Micronest account. To recover an old portal history, explicitly prove the old password while signed in. Matching email never links accounts.

Ready to share your brief?

Nothing is submitted until you confirm and send.
